What%26#39;s the one thing you didn%26#39;t pack or even think about until you got on Maui?? Trying to complile a list for my trip in Sept. staying at the Ka%26#39;anapali Beach Club (sp?) so don%26#39;t need much kitchen stuff. I know I will still forget something but who cares when your in paradise right ;~)
Thanks!
Weirdest Thing...
They do have stores there and laundry facilites. The only thing that comes to mind was on our very first trip we didn%26#39;t have binoculars. Seems no matter where we went we used the one%26#39;s we bought there.
The one thing I did regret packing was our return tickets but alas life and work called.
BTW I think you will love the Ka%26#39;anapali Beach Club. We have stayed there twice (when it was an Embassy Suites) and found it to be great.
Weirdest Thing...
I can%26#39;t think of anything I%26#39;ve forgotten. I have brought a lot of things that were completely useless - socks, jeans (unless going for the sunrise on Haleakala), a jacket.
I will try to remember a sharp knife now, thanks to Chcogirl.
We didn%26#39;t have a camera of all things so my husband ran to Costco and bought one.
I%26#39;m with Julauf. Can%26#39;t really think of anything we didn%26#39;t take that we needed but a lot of things I wish we hadn%26#39;t taken.
Another way to look at it is, as BB pointed out, pack light and if you need something when you get there, go to a store and buy it.
