Waikiki Hotel Help

We will be in Honolulu for 5 nights in late August. We are trying to decide between the following hotels. We can get the rooms for about the same amount so the rates are not an issue.

I realize these hotels are not next to each other and am interested in advice about the hotels as well as their locations. We will be renting a car so parking is also important.

This is our first visit to Oahu, so I don%26#39;t know alot about the proximity to restaurants, etc.

Aqua Palms - Studio Deluxe Room

Pacific Beach Hotel - Partial Ocean View

Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber - Partial Ocean View

Thanks for your help!

Waikiki Hotel Help

While all of Waikiki is within walking distance if in somewhat good shape the Pacific Beach and Ohana Beachcomber are closer to the center. The Pacific Beach Hotel is also right across the street from the beach and has the Oceanarium Restaurant the other two are close but about a block away from the beach. There are restaurants of all flavors in easy walking distance from any of the three such as Hard Rock Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Express, Cheesecake Factory, plus the local flav like Duke%26#39;s Canoe Club, Hula Grill and small noodle shops and bbq.

Waikiki Hotel Help

I think I%26#39;m leaning toward the Pacific Beach Hotel. The Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber seems to be in a more hectic location, but since I%26#39;ve never been there, I don%26#39;t really know.

They seem to get similar reviews on Trip Advisor, so that doesn%26#39;t seem to be much of a difference makers.

Does anyone else have any input???

Thanks!

We stayed at Pacific Beach a few years ago, and the breakfast buffet was part of the package. It was amazing! Just about anything you could ask for. The two story aquarium is great entertainment.

And the location is good--just across the street from Waikiki. Parking seems like it might be a problem though.
