How's Our Itinerary?

I%26#39;ll be in Oahu July 25-31 with my husband %26amp; 10 year-old daughter. Below is our tentative itinerary. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts/suggestions on anything we should add, skip or switch. This is our first time to Hawaii %26amp; my daughter%26#39;s first ';real'; vacation, so I want to make it the best experience possible. Please note that we will have a car for a few days (Days 3-5).

Day 1 – Check-in %26amp; unpack. Walk the beach strip and get familiar with the area. Int%26#39;l Marketplace. Dinner @ Dukes.

Day 2 – Hike Diamond Head. Lounge on the beach. Catamaran. Dinner @ House w/o a Key.

Day 3 – Circle Island Drive. Hit up most of the great spots recommended in Oahu Revealed. Waimea Falls. Hopefully back in time for HHV fireworks %26amp; show.

Day 4 – Surfing Lessons on Waikiki. PCC (Ali’i Luau Package)

Day 5 – Arizona Memorial. Aloha Stadium. Dinner @ Tiki’s.

Day 6 – Hanauma Bay. Lounge on Waikiki. (Open for any suggestions to spend our last night)

Day 7 – Pack %26amp; cry all the way to the airport.

Day 5 – Arizona Memorial. Aloha Stadium. Dinner @ Tiki’s.

On the way back from USS Arizona Memorial %26amp; Swap Meet, you can go to National Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) %26amp; Tantalus Drive.

Day 3 - Hopefully back in time for HHV fireworks %26amp; show.

Start your tour early (8am or so). There is a lot less traffic then.

HHV fireworks are nice, but not good enough to rush your circle island tour. If you miss the fireworks, its no big deal.

10 year old daughter will like Bishop Museum. They have an interactive volcano house where kids can create volcanoes %26amp; tidal waves. Try to add this on Day 6 after Hanauma Bay.
