Need a Photo of End of Marked Trail Sign

We visited the Volcano National Park last month and drove to the end of the Chain of Craters Road to hike to view the lava. When we got to the end of the ';marked trail'; (it was marked with those reflective markers), there was a sign/notice stating that the rest of the way was unmarked and giving further warnings. How I wish I had taken a picture of that sign! Does anyone know where I can obtain a picture of it, or does anyone have a picture of it?

I%26#39;ll check and see. If I have it, I%26#39;ll post a link.

Well I have one that terminates at the end of the yellow markers, but it just was a sign in the lava saying %26#39;end of trail.%26#39; Perhaps they%26#39;ve put a more detailed sign up since.

The other sign was the one near the end of the road, the yellow one informing visitors of the dangers crossing lava.

I%26#39;ve seen that particular one in pictures out on the web, however, that%26#39;s NOT what%26#39;s there now! The new one is in more detail - in fact it%26#39;s more of a posting, not a sign. To the best of my recollection it says something to the effect that to proceed any further is at your own risk. Such dire warnings, right? Anyways, if anyone has a picture of this new sign/posting, I would be SO appreciative. I want it for a scrapbook I am making of our trek through the lava fields and the trials and tribulations of arriving at the ranger station at 3:30pm and finally making it back to our vehicle after viewing the lava (only 3 out of the 5 of us went all of the way there) at 11:45pm!

Thanks again!

We just returned Saturday, my son and I hiked out to the lava also. We got to the 6th marker and looked for a warning sign (we wanted a picture, thought there would be some kind of warning about going further since there are other warning signs all over the park), but didn%26#39;t see one.

The warning was at the 1st marker, right where the reflective markers ended. I really think it was hand written on an easel type of stand that could be easily moved. We were there on May 22nd.

My hubby and I visited in early March and did the hike. I took a picture of a sign towards the end of the hike that reads ';Area Closed. Do Not Enter. The area beyond this sign will collapse into the sea without warning';. My family and friends always get a kick out of that picture when they see it. Let me know if you would like me to e-mail it to you.
