I am visiting Maui for a few days and want to do the Skyline road. I have a rental car but need one more person. We rent two mountain bikes and one more rental car for 1 day (price is 45 for each bike and 20 for the car). Drop a car off at the bottom of the skyline road, then take the other one and the bikes to the top early morning. We bike down the road to the car that we dropped off.
If you don%26#39;t know about this road it%26#39;s one of the most spectacular ever, going across craters and very little inhabited areas. It%26#39;s not very challenging so you don%26#39;t have to be an advanced rider.

bumping this one. I just find it interesting that the bikes are twice as expensive as the car for a day rental.
