My kids need to rent boogie boards for my week in Kauai.Is there a place by the Grand Hyatt that would do weekly rentals?To much of a hassle to bring them.

Right accross the road from Poipu Beach. I would also check with the concierge at the Hyatt. They are wonderful in replying to emails. Most resorts/condos do have boogie boards available for rent.

Erin is right on. You can rent boogie boards at Nukumoi, just across from Poipu Beach, and next ti Poipu Beach is Brenneckes Beach , the popular boogie boarding beach on the south shore.

Our kids are 10 years old. We looked into renting boogie boards for a week at Snorkel Bob%26#39;s. It cost around $30. We decided to just buy them at K-Mart for half the price and leave them at the hotel. But they enjoyed them so much they had to bring them home on the plane. No problem, airport packaged them up and checked them in for us.
