Anyone stayed in Pali Ke Kua #205?

Hi,

My friend and I are thinking about renting Pali Ke Kua #205 sometime this fall. Has anyone stayed there ? VRBO says it is oceanfront and has Bali Hai views from the lanai. Sometimes photos can be misleading...

Any info on this unit or complex would be really appreciated!

Go to wizard.pub, then go to Kauai. You can click on Pali Ke Kua for views and info. Might help with you selection.

We have not stayed in #205, but have stayed in #105, which is right below it. The views are stunning -- might be the best I have ever seen. However, I don%26#39;tknow if I would call this oceanfront. I guess technically it is, but is not beachfront. You sit high above the ocean on a cliffside -- it is not like you can walk right out your door to the water%26#39;s edge. There is a trail nearby to take you down to a small beach, but it is steep. It is, however, a beautiful location.

I walked past #205 today. Like kimocat said, really great views from this unit towards Bali Hai and part of Hanalei Bay. The concrete walkway to Pali Ke Kua beach is right next to the unit. This is a private path for guests of Pali Ke Kua and is way easier than the closeby Hideaways rope access by Princeville Hotel. You can swim around the small lava rock point (or walk at low tide) to go West from Pali Ke Kua beach to Hideaways. Nice pool and hot tub also. I think you%26#39;ll really like it.

A bit off topic, but has anyone tried the new restaurant at Pali Ke Kua (the old Sabellas)? It%26#39;s a Mediteranean joint called Saffron.
