Oahu for a full day

We will be in Honolulu for 3 days, staying at the Hilton Hawaiin Village before taking an NCL cruise at the end of June. When we return to Honolulu it will be about 8AM and our flight doesn%26#39;t leave until 11:20 PM. Does anyone have any suggestions? We will probably be doind Diamone Head and Pearl Harbor before our cruise, but need to fill this very long day on our return. We were wondering if any hotels let you use there facilities or if there were any dinner shows. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Will you be renting a car? That will open up your options quite a bit. I suggest taking a drive to the other side of the island. A lot of the public beaches have shower facilities. (I believe) You could do the polynesian cultual center, that would take up the whole day and it%26#39;s a great time.

Do you know where we can rent a car from that is close to the port? I heard of the Polynessian cultural center. They have an evening show, do you know much about it? I also heard of a tour company called Roberts Tours. Are they reputable?

You could do the PCC but the evening show is not over until about 9:30. The park opens at 11:00 a.m.and you can start touring the seven different island exhibits at 12:00 noon, and maybe even have time for the luau at 5:00 p.m. but not do the evening show. The Roberts Tours usually includes the show and you would be at their mercy if you did not have a rental car of your own.

You can do Polynesian Cultural Center on one of the first days %26amp; save USS Arizona Memorial %26amp; other things in or close to Honolulu on the last day.

If you don%26#39;t want to pay for a hotel on your last day %26amp; just want to take a shower, you can use any of the outdoor showers at many of the beaches. Many will close 8-9pm.

Norwegian Cruiselines sells a number of full day excursions for the day you arrive back in Honolulu. You should check their website. I%26#39;d recommend a circle Island tour that takes you to the north shore.

The buses pick you up at the ship, they store your luggage on the bus, you do the tour, and the bus drops you off at the airport at the end of the day.

That will save the hassle of getting a car or taxi, driving, getting lost, missing seeing some important sights, and so on.

Thanks everyone for the good suggestions. We were going to take NCLs grand finale tour but the tour carrier cancelled it. The cheap hotel suggestion and beach showers were good ideas. I will also look into the show at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel.
