planning on going to hula grill, kimos and leilanis. any idea how far to reserve ahead? we will be there july18-july31.

Book now! It doesn%26#39;t cost anything to make a reservation and you can cancel anytime. I already made reservations for Mama%26#39;s through OpenTable.com for a late July trip. Better safe than sorry.

For most restaurants, you can make reservations on the morning or early afternoon of the day you want to have your dinner.

Certain times and tables are harder to get and you will have to reserve a little earlier (rail tables at sunset) but, in general, we usually can reserve a table for dinner right after lunch at your three mentioned restaurants.

Mama%26#39;s Fish House, OLL and a few others do require a little more lead time for reservations (weeks to months for OLL).

BTW, we are also in the islands from 7/20 to 8/8... it is a great time to be there (actually, anytime is a great time!!)

I have to agree, we usually have the concierge make reservations in the morning for our evening meal. So far, we%26#39;ve never had any problems.

Agreed as Mammas Fish and OLL do require quite an advance reservation for peak season.
