Luau

My friend and I will be staying Friday and Saturday night in Waikiki and Sun-Fri at the Turtle Bay on the North Shore and want to go to a Luau - can anybody recommned one? Are they all about the same price?

Luau

I always recommend Paradise Cove on the w side on the grounds of the Koolina resort. It%26#39;s classy, lots of activ to do, spacious grounds, beautiful, peaceful setting, fantastic dancing.

Not crazy about any luau food, so just purchase the basic deal-the upgraded ones give you all you can drink watered down blue drinks or mai tais, which I%26#39;m not into, with better seating, but not necessary, in my opinion.

You could spend part of the day before the luau exploring the beautiful beaches on the west side (although it%26#39;s very local and there are numerous homeless areas)- Makaha, Yokohama Bay (at the very end) and even hike to Keana Point, albatross nesting area and unreal views, but very HOT, so carry plenty of water.

You could just stay at the lagoons at the Koolina resort, but parking fills up quickly.

Aloha, Pat
