Speaking of Tedeshi wine...

Somebody just mentioned the splash wine on another thread which reminded me that I created a new treat for myself this trip.

Squeeze a generous amount of lime into the splash and serve it over lots of ice and it%26#39;s delicious! Very refreshing to drink on the beach. My husband was using the limes for his Corona beer so I thought I%26#39;d give it a try. Yumm!!!!!!!!! You could even throw a slice of pineapple in and then eat it after it%26#39;s soaked up some of the wine.

mmmmmmm

We will have to try that ! I personally enjoyed the wine and think those suggestions will be a great addition.

Speaking of Tedeshi wine...

Red Red Tedeshi wine... stay close to me....

Red Red Tedeshi wine....Red Red Tedeshi wine all the time....

I%26#39;m cutting myself off and going to bed...

That Tedershi stuff is not bad actually as addicted said...throw in some limes, pineapple....but I think the secret is to serve it up cold...or after caddys over his limit :)

what is the ';splash'; wine?

i%26#39;ve had the maui blanc...the pineapple...always LOVED it! we went to a very fine restaurant (now defunct) %26amp; the bartender sneered at me when i asked for it...i just said ';hey, i LIKE it!';

i hate to admit it, but i brought a bottle home on our last trip...i kept saving it for a special occasion %26amp; by now it%26#39;s probably not drinkable :-(

The Splash is a sweeter, not as dry pineapple wine. They say it has hints of Passion fruit. I don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s actually has it in it. And I happen to have a bottle in the pantry. I just might need to go to the store and get some ice and lime and give it a try. Purely for scientific purposes of course. ;) I might have to wait until I can get a Maui Gold pineapple at Costco. I think it%26#39;s against the law to put Costa Rican pineapple in Maui wine. It could skew the test results also. lol

thanks, dreamin! i tend to prefer dryer wines, so i guess i%26#39;ll stick with the maui blanc...wish maryland would change its stupid archaic laws about wines being shipped in!

I%26#39;ve visited the winery which was nice. I prefer to just drink their wine from a bottle from the local grocery. It is a nice idea that they do produce it.

Please don%26#39;t get bent out of shape everyone. But that stuff, is not $300 a bottle wine. But caddy don%26#39;t need that anyway!

The splash is the pineapple wine which is a white wine. usually I am a red drinker but in the hot sun that splash over ice and lime tastes VERY good!
